Before and Afters

Ok so here is my first set of before and afters. It is of the upstairs Living room. Now keep in mind that not everything has been unpacked yet...namely pictures so I still have plans to add to this room but here it is as of yesterday and today. We want to send out a big thanks to Dad Fiske who helped with just about everything. He layed the floor by himself. Nathan re-tiled the fireplace hearth and scraped the popcorn off the ceilings and then the three of us patched/ re-textured and painted the ceiling. All of the trimming was painted white and new light fixtures, outlets, light switches were added as well as brand new base board. (that took forever)  I am so glad that nasty carpet is gone. Thanks so much Papa! We couldn't have done all of this with out you. And we also want to say a big THANK YOU!  to GG Maxine, her so very generous house warming gift made it possible for us to finally have some furniture in here. Thanks GG!! we cant wait to see you in July.










And I didn't have a before picture of this side of the room so we will just have to put up with a after picture... well there it is. :) More to come soon.
