The Fall Run Down

Ok, there has been so much going on in a short time so this will be a hefty post of all of our fall exploits. Alright 1st off was Braydan's class field trip to the pumpkin patch. Very fun and Tes and Vann and I took the time to pick out all of our family pumpkins as well. Nathan wasn't able to be with us but we had a fun time at the farm. (Nothing like the Palmer farm though) :) Vann liked to taste the pumpkins. Here are the finished product. From left to right starting at the top... is Tes's, then Vann's and mine. Bottom row is Nathan's and then Braydans.

Next was Braydan's Halloween parade. This was such a cool small town thing. The two elementary schools marched through down town Yreka. So Braydan marched his little vampire bum around town. It was really cute, they even had the middle school band with them and police cars leading the way.

Ok so now its Trick-or-Treat time. The kids were stinkin cute in their Halloween costumes. We went to the church for a very small Trunk or Treat and then we came home and hit up our neighborhood. This was the 1st time we have ever went door to door. The kids had so much fun and they scored big time with all the older people around us.
Braydan the Vampire
Tes the Witch
Vann the Skeleton

Ok last on the list is a fall favorite, jumping in the leaves. We have a huge tree in our front yard and withen 1 week it dumped all its leaves. So Nathan raked them all up and the kids had a fun activity for about an hour, before we bagged them up. ( If you click this picture for a closer look you can see Vann's new teeth. They are on the top but not the front ones. It is so funny, the side teeth have come in before the front two. So, he looks like Goofy. Cute kid.)

You take the best pictures. What a fun town with great traditions. Small towns are the best. Love the costumes.
