Of course, it couldnt be easy.

Buying a home is a pain. A big fat pain. First, you have got to find a house to buy. That means long days of going from house to house with an annoying Realtor who wont just let you go into the house and check it out. They have to follow you from room to room chatting your ear off. You cant even discuss the house with your husband because your too busy trying to keep up with the constant talking of the Realtor telling you how great everything is.  Kids are usually done with the whole process by house #2 so you start leaving them in the car but every time you stop there is consistent whining about being able to come in and see too,  and how they don't want to sit in  the car, and  Vann is hitting me, and how we are bad parents for locking them in the car. Then when you finally find a house that is promising it either is a short sale or already has 5 offers on it. And lets face it...who really wants to have to compete. And if all the planets and stars align right, you end up finding one that is available and that you like well enough but it is a foreclosed house and you have to deal with a bank. The Bank.... wow. The bank plays by its own set of rules while expecting everyone else to play by another. We have to have an offer in writing with all the paper work done and signed. They can just send us an email with a mark "yes or no". We have to pay for an inspection and an appraisal, they give us a paper to sign that says any fixes that have to be done...will be done and then added to our lone amount. So yeah, we get to pay for that too. Lame bank. But, if you get lucky, and blessed and persevere, you find a house that you can make a home. A home that needs a lot of work, and cleaning, and love..... but that is yours. And gosh darn-it if you want to change the color of the walls you can.

All of the paperwork has been signed, we are now waiting on our inspection and an appraisal. Taking to long. Lame bank.

Goodluck. It takes forever. We bought a foreclosure and got a great deal, but now the market has dropped even lower. We wished we would have waited, but we Love our house. Just takes a while to fix things up and their is one thing after another. Goodluck it will all work out for you.

well--here you go...hope it works out if its supposed to--if it does not work out, just convince yourselves that it is for the best.
