The Big Man is 8

And he is very excited about that. We started the day off with Birthday Waffles and Hot chocolate. I brought treats for his school class but I didnt get a picture of it. They were cups of dirt. :) Little cups of chocolate pudding with crushed oreos on the top with a few gummy worms sticking out the top. He thought it was pretty cool and apparently so did his class. :)

Once home from school he had a lazy day of playing and watching cartoons, because the birthday boy does not have to do jobs on his birthday. For dinner he chose "pink fish" (salmon) Garlic cheese bread, broccoli and grapes with root beer for dinner. And of course cake and ice cream.

A visit from Gramps and Grammi this weekend and a surprise Disneyland trip next weekend from Mimi and Papa.
As well as this totally awesome suit from Poppy and Marmie... (the kid refuses to smile, instead he gives me the one eyebrow raise all the time.)

At bed time he told me that today was the best day ever. Gotta love that.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! It can't be! Please tell him to stop growing. I miss that chubby little 2 year old that use to snore in the pews at church! He looks like a little man Lindsey. I miss you guys and I can't wait to hear about his baptism. Have a safe trip. We will be thinking of you!!!
