Part 1.3 {The LaBrea Tar Pits}

My Dad and Mom rented a huge RV so that we could all ride together and it was so so fun. We left early morning so that we could attend my cousins wedding at the LA Temple. It was beautiful... a little rainy. but I really loved being in the temple with my family. After that we hit up a California pizza kitchen ( yummy Caribean jerk pizza for me) and then we were off to the Tar Pits.

The Tar Pits

Those of you you have never been here... it is super cool. And my Dad gave us a super tour of the whole place.

What the animals could have looked like when stuck in the tar.

The kids pulling up the sample tar in the museum... no wonder all of those animals got stuck. It is super hard to pull the lever up.

We were all pretty exhausted by the end of the day...

What Whitney sick? Hmmmmm that must mean something special. I love seeing all of the photos of your family. One of our first stops after moving to California was the La Brea Tarpits. Really fascinating. Sophia was like 9 weeks old so it was neat to see pictures of your kiddos enjoying it. Looks like a great day.
