A few days before Christmas, Uncle Adam and Auntie Kit gave Tes one of her Christmas presents from them. A ride on Adam's horse Tanner, along with a horse riding lesson. She was in heaven the entire time, and she was never afraid. Tanner even gave her shoulder a little nibble and I think it hurt a little bit, but she was so blissed out that it didn't even matter. After she lead the horse (all by herself) to the pasture area, Adam got him all saddled up and ready to go, helped her up into the saddle and she was on her way.

Adam taught her how to start and stop and turn and all of the things you need to know about riding a horse. and she seemed to catch on really well.
She was the boss, because this was her x-mas present so after a while she decided that Braydan and Vann could have a short turn.
Soon after this, Vann was getting really crazy so we left. Tes got to stay with Uncle Adam and ride some more and then he taught her how to take everything off and brush him down. She loved it. For Christmas they gave her a really cute frame (had a horse shoe on the top) with a picture of her and Tanner. It was a really special thing for her.
