The fires

So by now I'm sure that everyone has heard of the fires that are raging down here. The closest one to us is the Lake Arrowhead fires. It lit up the sky last night, and we could see it from the house. Scary. Here is the view from our house looking north to the mountains.

There is destruction all around us at the moment. the only thing on news is the fires, people all around, family and friends are losing their homes and having to evacuate. (see Julias blog for her story) We are blessed that the fires have not come to close to us, that we remain safe. But lets pray for those that are homeless and displaced today.
